Truck Driver

BVM Transport, a leading logistics company in Dubai, is seeking an experienced and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various locations in Dubai. We are looking for a candidate who is highly skilled in driving large commercial vehicles, possesses excellent communication and organizational skills, and is committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate and maneuver commercial trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations within Dubai.
2. Adhere to all traffic rules, regulations, and safety standards while driving and ensure the safe transportation of cargo.
3. Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any maintenance issues or defects promptly.
4. Secure cargo properly to prevent damage or loss during transportation, using straps, ropes, or other securing devices as necessary.
5. Maintain accurate records of pick-up and delivery times, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays that occur during transportation.
6. Interact professionally with customers and clients during pick-up and delivery, ensuring exceptional customer service and resolving any issues or concerns that may arise.
7. Collaborate with the logistics team to plan routes and schedules for efficient delivery operations, taking into account traffic conditions and other factors.
8. Follow company policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation, safety, and reporting.
9. Maintain a clean and organized truck, performing regular cleaning and maintenance tasks, such as refueling, oil changes, and tire inspections.
10. Stay updated on Dubai’s traffic laws, regulations, and road conditions to ensure compliance and safe driving practices.

Requirements:

1. Valid UAE driving license (Truck) with a clean driving record.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Truck Driver, preferably in a logistics or transportation company.
3. Excellent driving skills and a strong understanding of Dubai’s road network.
4. Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures for commercial truck operation.
5. Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
6. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
7. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
8. A customer-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor.
9. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
10. Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
